He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Fathers and Gertrude Fathers; and his sister Muriel Moerschfelder (Don). He is survived by: his spouse Lenore Fathers; his child Barbara Haney (Dave); his grandchildren, Jennifer Haney (Steve Brough) and Kelly Pillsworth (Joe); and his great grandchildren, Ryan Brough and Lauren Brough.

A private family burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Dunnville. if desired, donations in remembrance of Ross may be made to Parkinson Canada.
