He was predeceased by: his spouse Penny Hesler; his parents, Franklin and Eleanor; and his siblings, Marguerite and William.
He is survived by: his children, Danella Hesler, Bruce Hesler, Denise Hesler and Paul Hesler; his grandchildren, Alexander (Shalie), Milica (Mike), Nicolas (Rebecca) and Richard (Julie); and his great grandchildren, Thea, Kaivala, Ziva, Reya, Chloé, Liam and Eddie.
