It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Schmidt (Dunnville, Ontario), who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Lynn and Muriel Lynn; her siblings, John Lynn (Hazel), Janet (Morley Chapman), Jane (John Reddekopp) and Mary Meyer; and her brother-in-law Mel Rose.
She is survived by: her husband Edwin Schmidt; her children, Philip Schmidt (Sally), Gilbert Schmidt (Sharon), Lorene Rodgers, Karen Bell (Jerry Meyer) and Valerie Coleiro (Mark); her grandchildren, Jason, Eric, Adam, Timothy, Lyndsey, Jennifer (Mike), Shannon (Kedar), Robert (Selena), Nicole and Erica; her great grandchildren, Olivia and Alexis; and her brother David Lynn (Eileen) of South Cayuga.
In memory of Joy, donations to Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) would be greatly appreciated by her family.
