He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Werger and Elizabeth Werger; and his sisters, Mary and Rose Werger. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Werger; his son Richard Werger; his daughter-in-law Brenda Werger; his grandchildren, Mckenzie Thornhill (Brent) and Ethan Werger (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Liam and Blake Thornhill; his niece Elizabeth Hedley (Duane); and also Meredith Hedley.
