He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Morrissey and Helen Morrissey; and his brother Jack of Peterborough. He is survived by: his husband David Schweyer; his sons, Lucas Schweyer of Toronto and Kevin Schweyer; his godchildren, Michaela, Noah, Llyena and Jamie; and his pet Roxy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ballard Minor Funeral Home (315 Broad St E, Dunnville, ON N1A1G4). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church (201 Alder St W, Dunnville, ON N1A1R3).
