He was predeceased by: his wife Lila; his son Herbert; his grandchild Dale; his great grandchild Daniel Talan; his siblings, Agnes Breadner, Harry, Stan, Leona Hopper and Ernie; and his parents, Bessie Trafford and Roy Trafford.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne (Gail) of Shelburne, Dwight (Rita) of Brampton and Wendy Hughes (Mike) of North York; his grandchildren, Jonathan (Amy), Graham (Kristin), Galen (Andrea), Bronwyn (Anton Calvert), Sarah (Kevin Desousa), Dana (Will Gniehm), Ashley, Jamie, Tim Hughes, Rachel (Sean Trudeau-Tavara) and Ben Hughes (Alexandra); and his great grandchildren, Jake, Danny, Elly, Desmond, Jaden, Brodie, Grady, Brychan, Liam, Kees, Nathan, Cameron and Oliver.
Alex and Lila were known for their generosity, and therefore, if desired, donations to a charity dear to your heart in Alex's memory would be greatly appreciated.
