He was predeceased by: his former wife Jane (Janny); and his son Geoffrey. He is survived by: his wife Lena; his great grandchildren, Helen and John Van Dyk; his grandchildren, Julianne, Alex Verbrinnen, Joel, Nicole, Leah, Jonathan (Judah), Luke, Mark, Ruth, Marlene, Harry Dasselaar, Inge, Harm, Geoffrey, Dineke, Lianne, Linda Kamstra, Jayna, Carol, Willy Conway and Liam; and his siblings, Sytse, Riek (Bill), Frank (Tena), John, Pat (Henk), Jake (Mary), Mike and Pete (Rose).
