He was predeceased by: his son Daniel; his brothers, Gerald (Joan) and Victor; and his parents, Alice Bastien and Donat Bastien.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Bastien; his children, Donna (Wayne) and David; his stepchildren, Karlotta (Allen) and Travis (Anne); his pet Itzy; his siblings, Jeannine (late Ray), Pauline (Claude), Claudette (late Glen), Luke (Cheryl), Aline (late Larry), Paulette (late John), David (Brenda) and Clarisse (Roger); his granddaughters, Meghan (Chris), Samantha, Melinda and Haley; and his great grandchildren, Karson, Deklan, Olivia and Athena.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Optimist Club of Dunnville (101 Main St E, Dunnville, ON N1A1J8).
