He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elsie Mitchell, Muriel Baxter, Doris Pollard, Ken, Don, Norm and Jim; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Mazi and Gary Roth; and his parents, George Hines and Olive Hines.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Garry, Laurie, Tim, Leann, Cindy, Tod Dear, Cathy, John Case, Rod and Kristin; his grandchildren, Emilee (Jason), Andy (Sarah), Lauren (Alex), Ryan (Mackenzie), Jason (Devin), Brandon (Michaela), Marli, Amanda (Wesley), Cole, Mia and Doug; his great grandchildren, Emma, Brooklyn, Hadley and Cameron; his siblings, Dorothy Minor and Gerry (Barb); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Hines, Joanne Villeneuve and Howard Roth (Bev). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations to the Grandview Lodge Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.
