He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law John Shain (Marietta). He is survived by: his spouse Jyl; his children, Julia (Daniel), Hilary (Curtis), David (Amy) and Laura (Robin); and his grandchildren, Evelyn, Morgan, Dina, Maxime, Kai, Lydia, Abigail, Silas, Charlotte and Levi.
