She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Schachtschneider; and her siblings, Wanda, Emma and Ewald. She is survived by: her sons, Herbert, Walter (Elaine), George (Annie) and Harry (JoAnne); her grandchildren, Gregory, Stefani and Nathan; her sister-in-law Natalie Bluemke; and also Germany.

In lieu of flowers, Rose's wish was that a donation to a charity be made.
