He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia. He is survived by: his children, Jerome and Alexandra; his sister Gloria Pope (Bill) of Port Ryerse; and his sister-in-law Anne Jarema (Cliff) of North Carolina.
He continued to study, write and publish and was currently translating 17th century French literature, as a Covid project.
