She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Helwig; and her parents, Charles Perkins and Margaret Perkins. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Huba (Andy), Bob Helwig (Tracey) and Steve Helwig; and her sister Diane Summers (Paul). She is also survived by extended family members and many dear friends.

In her memory, donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
