It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Vedell of Dundas, Ontario, born in Chesterton, Indiana, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Vedell; his son Sean Vedell (Barb); his granddaughter Sarah Vedell (Peter); his sister Arlene Luke; his nephew Peter Vedell (Kenneth Vedell); his sister-in-law Marilyn Vedell (Tom); his children, Colin and Alexandra Vedell; his daughter-in-law Barb Vedell (Sean); his grandchildren, Rebecca Bovbel (Paul), Patrick Vedell (Sonja), Erin Vedell and Tyler Vedell; his great grandchildren, Tyson, Roze, Arthur, Lucy and Ollie; and his brothers, Tom Vedell (Marilyn) and Robert Vedell (Janet). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
