He was predeceased by: his daughter Catherine Lyn. He is survived by: his wife Terry; his children, Shelley Stirling-Boyes and Jonathan; and his grandsons, Jordan, Josh and Adam. He is also survived by birds and animals that his daughters.

Due to COVID restrictions, John will be remembered at a small family service.
