He was predeceased by: his parents, Cliff and June; and his son Robert. He is survived by: his friend Patricia Thompson; his sister Jane Wilkinson; his daughters, Jacqueline and Amanda; his stepdaughters, Tammy and Teresa; his nephews, Michael and Willie; and his niece Corrina. He is also survived by three great-nieces.
