Irene Rioch Gilbert Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene Rioch Gilbert (Dundas, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Scottish Melville (Charles) and Lilias Melville; her husband Edward Parker Gilbert; and her siblings, Helen, Anna and Bill.

She is survived by: her children, Rod (Louise), Margaret (Charlie), Sandra (Len) and Rob (Suzan); her grandchildren, Chris (Somer), Danielle, Brittany, Cassie (Luis), Tim, Jon, Emily (Randy), Kim, Willow and Dane; her great grandchildren, Jade, Alexis, Zoey, Zane, Shaela, Noah, Fox, Isla and Sloane; her sister Jessica; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis (Lois), Beryl and Bev.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Irene's memory be made to Mountain Citadel Salvation Army or Operation Smile.
