He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey; his parents, John McMurray and Astrid McMurray; his siblings, Edward and Barbara; his son-in-law Tim Kendry; and his grandson Timmy Kendry.

He is survived by: his children, Stu and Elizabeth (Bob); and his grandchildren, Maggie (Siobhan), Cassandra McMurray, Patrick Kendry Jackson, Andrew (Stacey), Christopher Jackson, Laurie Cocking (Pete), Kelena Medeiros and Bryson Borsellino.
