She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other John Lisson; her parents, Valentine Schneider and Lilly Schneider; her siblings, Greta Gale (Robert), Albert (Anne), George Schneider and Bill (Sandra); and her sister-in-law Ilse Schneider. She was also cherished by six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.
