She was predeceased by: her husband Martin Cowie; and her son Brian Cowie. She is survived by: her children, Martin Cowie (Gail), Ian Cowie (Sue) and Yvette McFarlane (Bill); her grandchildren, Grahaeme (Morgane), Geoff (Joleen), Andrew (Grace), Aaron (Marlena), Brad (Nikki) and Billy (Tami); her great grandchildren, Atlin, Kimmy, Charlie, Chloe, Parker, Taylum and Emilia; her sister Mina; and her brother-in-law Dennis (Doris). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid, there will not be a formal funeral at this time.
