He is survived by: his spouse Mirella Batagelj; his children, Mirko (Rosa) and Tanya (Terrence); his grandchildren, Kiana, Bianka, Niko and Remy; his siblings, Branko (Vanka), Nadia (George), Fredo (Mirica), Karmela, Uberto (Ottogalli) and Proud; and his parents, Franc Batagelj and Angela Batagelj. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with the regulations of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario due to COVID-19, all visitations, funerals and interments are restricted to a specified number of attendees.
