She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown and Isa Brown; her sister Diane; and her granddaughter Meghan. She is survived by: her spouse Gerry Rush; her children, Gerald (Lanette), Karen Malleret (Patrick), Wendy Laws (Stephen) and Michael (Nicole); her grandchildren, Caitlin, Ian, Jack, George, Ewan, Isla, Kalianna, Makayla, Ella and Zakary; her siblings-in-law, Linda and Sam Mahon; and her nieces and nephews, Liane, Kyla, Mandy and Mark.

In memory of Rena, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
