He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera James and Gordon James; and his siblings, Bert (Dorothy), Carl "Rusty" James, Marion Hood (Ken) and Dorothy Mackenzie (Alec).
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Kevin James (Paulette) of Rockton, Janice Mitchell (Paul) of Uniondale Ontario, Joanne Dawson (Barry) of Fort Qu'Appelle Saskatchewan and Kristine Leach (George) of Mount Hope Ontario; his grandchildren, Vicky, Kirk James, Effie Koshy (Mathew), Russ, Keith, Natalie Mitchell (Mauro), Justin, Ryan Dawson (Makayla), Amanda Gulbranson (Shad), Ashlee Gurr (Kyle), Branden and Tyler Leach (Cortney); and his parents-in-law, Myrna James, Ken McCartney (Chris) and Karen Landers (Mike). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private family funeral will be held on June 30th.
