He is survived by: his wife Virginia Bateman (Reed); his children, Valerie, Ken Hart of Durham, Norma, Danny Galbraith of Palmerston, Terry, Gloria Bateman of Dundalk, Tina, Andy Barlow of Palmerston, Gail and Gerry Godin of Egmondville; his grandchildren, Jason Hart, Stacy, Sean Holloway, Holly Galbraith, Jesse Bateman (Ariana Megicks), Melanie Mitchell, Elana, Phil Shain, Amber Maxwell (Andre Cardosa), Chantalle, Micheal Turgott and Greg Godin (Hollie Day); his siblings, Roy, Leona Bateman, Yvonne and Dennis Evans; and his siblings-in-law, Florence Chalmers, Shirley, Vic Brush and Beverly Reed. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
