He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Vaters and Phyllis Vaters (Smith); and his mothers-in-law, Morley Sr., Leeking, Eileen and Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Elizabeth Vaters (Leeking); his children, Ashley McCauley (Mike), Emily Vaters (Jeff Friesen) and Jarrett Vaters; his siblings, Keith Vaters, Lisa Vaters (Gerard Dillon), Mike Vaters and Darren Vaters; his siblings-in-law, Morley Leeking (Trin) and Cindy Brennan (Steve); and his brother Concrete Ltd. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
