He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hunt and Delza Hunt; and his siblings, Bruce, Roger and Cathy.

He is survived by: his sons, Adam, Jimmy and Trevor Ritchie; his grandchildren, William, Tianna Hunt, Alexis and Connor Ritchie; his sisters, Joyce Woods (Don) and Kim Elliot (Joe); and his siblings-in-law, Lucy Hunt, Bev Menary (James) and Bob McGillivray. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
