He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Fuerst and Eileen Fuerst; and his sister Dolores Mitani. He is survived by: his significant other Karen Bazilewich; his brothers, Garry (Kim Anderson) and Robert (Margaret Saville); his brother-in-law Don Mitani; his nieces and nephews, Alexandria, Tayler, Kelsey, Egon Fuerst and Tanis Mitani-Oberg; and his great-nephews, Cale and Joshua Oberg.
