He was predeceased by: his daughter Marilyn Queen; his wife Helen; and his siblings, Frederick Wade and Erna Dixon. He is survived by: his daughter Judy Thorley (Ed); his grandchildren, Pauline Douglas (Sam) of Dryden and Grant Thorley (Pamela) of Winnipeg; and his great grandchildren, Josh, Alyssa, Jayce, Madeleine and Brody.
