George Bates Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Bates (Dryden, Ontario), born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on March 15, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his parents, John Bates and Jessie Bates; his siblings, Laura, Jessie and Don; and his son-in-law Luke.
He is survived by: his children, Barb (Tim), Linda and Rob (Tracy); and his grandchildren, Claire, Noelle, Trenton Gauthier, Fred (Leiah), Terianne Bousfield, Danielle Wazny and Cassidy Bates. He is also survived by his four great grandchildren.
