He was predeceased by: his wife Glenna; his parents, Dorothy Odell and Clarence "Digger" Odell; and his nieces, Betty Madussi (Sanders) and Wendy Kropelin (Strand).
He is survived by: his friend Glenna; his siblings, Earland, Gladys, Joyce, Ruth, Myrle, June and Norman; his daughters, Keri Odell (Terry Taylor) and Patti Odell; his grandsons, Chris Taylor (Jessie Grant), Brian Taylor, Adam Ryynanen (Steph Ryynanen) and Ben Ryynanen (Isabella Boyes); his great grandchild Pie; and his niece Gayle Gawley.
