She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Blackwell and Rose Blackwell (Ornborne); her brother Floyd Blackwell; her brother-in-law Doug Ollinger; and her parents-in-law, Ed and Dora Michalak.

She is survived by: her husband Don Michalak; her children, Kristen Michalak of Drumbo and Kevin Michalak (Michelle) of Drumbo; her grandchildren, Victoria Smith (Jeremy), Braedon Geerts, Miranda Michalak, Logan Michalak and Riley Geerts; her sister Julia Ollinger of Burlington; and her siblings-in-law, Wendy Blackwell of Hamilton and Robert Michalak (Joanne) of Kitchener.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Drumbo & District Heritage Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
