He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Baker (Huggins); his son Craig (Amelia Baker) of Drumbo; his grandchildren, Scarlett and Gracelynn; his mother Annie Baker of Woodstock; his siblings, Terry Baker of Canmore, Alberta and Nancy (Bob Banfield) of Hagersville; his siblings-in-law, Gary and Linda Huggins of Oriel; and his father Roy Baker.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Woodstock Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

“When we were kids, Dennis and I and Rick Leuszler were good friends. Often on a Saturday we would be riding our bikes, riding horses, riding a raft down Horner's Creek, or something just to have fun and share friendship. We had a blast. Dennis was a giant as a person, gentle, strong and a caring soul. I'll always have fond memories of him. My sympathies to all of Dennis' family.”
