He is survived by: his parent Aafke Kloostra (DeJager); his spouse Christina Kloostra (DeVries); his children, Linda, Bernie Brouwer, Carolyn, Dick Bulsink, Sharon, Jan Van Reenen, Nancy, Pho Eades, David, Ruth Kloostra, Melissa and Eric Hartenstein; and his siblings, Connie, Hank Van Rooyen, Sieger, Lena Kloostra, Dick, Grace Kloostra, Joe, Henny Kloostra, Simon, Brenda Kloostra, Walter and Correen Kloostra.
