He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bueckert and Agatha Bueckert (Fehr); his son John Bueckert; his daughter-in-law Catherine Jean Bueckert; and his granddaughter Michelle Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Anna Bueckert (Thiessen); his children, Peter Bueckert Jr. (Wanda Vandeven), Nick Bueckert (Barb), Frank Bueckert (Cherie), Maryanne Burgess (late Ray), Jake Bueckert (Barb McKay) and Aggie Trahan (Todd); his grandchildren, Dannielle, Terri-Lynn, Nicholas (Ashley), Catherine, Josh, Justin, Jesse, Summer, Jonathon (J. C.), Anthony, Holly (Marshall), Andrew (Nicole), Lindsey (Adam), Kimberly (Matthew) and Ashley (Rob); and his great grandchildren, Michelle, Cameron, Logan, Mikayla, Jacob, Elizabeth, Ezra and Annabelle.

The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask.
