She was predeceased by: her parents, Kingsley Houston and Helen Houston (Butcher); her husband Hilton Shaw; and her sisters, Elda Irwin (Howard) and Janet Arnold.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jordan Aarssen, Jim Aubie Jr. and Joe Aubie; and her great grandchildren, Madisun, Alyssa and Samantha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
