With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elda Georgina Thompson (Dresden, Ontario), who passed away on July 22, 2018 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Edward Ladd; her spouse Howard Thompson; her children, Edward Leroy and Carol Diane; her son-in-law Lionel Smith; and her sister Verna Simmons.

She is survived by: her parent Yvonne Ladd (Poole); her children, Allen (Sandra Thompson) of Dresden and Betty Ann Smith of Windsor; her grandchildren, Steven Thompson (Elizabeth), Felesha Brutus, Rachelle Smith and Justin Smith; her great grandchildren, Troy, Shelbie Rae, Enaya Thompson, Joshua (Bailey), Jacob, Justice and Jurnee Brutus; her great great grandchild Amara Rose; and her brother-in-law Bernard Simmons.
