She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hawgood and Frances Hawgood (Purdy); her spouse Clair Mifflin; her sister Beatrice Harris (Lorne); her brothers-in-law, Clayton Mifflin (Thelma), Murray Mifflin (Doreen) and Terry McFadden; and her grandson Jason Mifflin.

She is survived by: her children, Allan Mifflin (Brenda), Gary Mifflin (Nancy), Steve Mifflin (Linda) and Jody Langlois (Gus); her grandchildren, Sean (Amy), Ashley (Andy), Shannon (Ryan), Courtney (Connor), Jesse, Allison (Keith) and Trevor (Jen); her stepgrandsons, Matthew and Lincoln; her close friend Jerome Ide; and her siblings-in-law, Chere McFadden and Don Mifflin (Irmgard). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
