He was predeceased by: his parents, Maarten Zandwijk and Wendalina van Zandwijk; and his parents-in-law, Albert and Anna Hogeveen. He is survived by: his wife Annie (Hogeveen); his children, Anneke, Terry Kuipers of Palmerston, Wendy, Sheldon Friske of Barrie, Marieke, Dave Scholten of Drayton, Martin and Brittany Van Zandwyk of Moorefield; his grandchildren, Cole, Ella Kuipers, Paige Friske, Brett, Nolan Scholten, Summer, Ainsley and India Van Zandwyk; his siblings, Cor, Thea van Zandwijk, Fietje, Arie Biesheuvel, Elly and Cees Bogerman; and his siblings-in-law, Trijnie, Wim Ledder, Janny, Dick Boltjes, Elza and Rob Korbee of Australia. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.
As expressions of sympathy donations to Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation, Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family.
