With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph Hoftyzer of Drayton, Ontario, who passed away on November 3, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Gerard and Bernice Hoftyzer; and his siblings, Bert (Margaret Hoftyzer), John Hoftyzer and Johanna Hoftyzer (Orvis Scott).
He is survived by: his spouse Elly Hoftyzer (Rhebergen); his children, Rita, Ed Koster of Floradale, Linda, Anne, John Stevens of Elora, Cheryl, Tim Mulder of Listowel, Yvonne and Jeff Van Soest of Hensall; his grandchildren, Ashley Koster, Rachel, Ryan Roth, David, Amanda Koster, Cindy, Mark Brown, Ed, Lauren Koster, Bradley, Tara Koster, Angela Watters, Dianne, Nathan Norris, Julie Drost, Kyle, Adrienne Drost, Valerie, Joel Leis, Scott, Tory Stevens, Robyn Stevens, Tony, Clare Stevens, Jeff Stevens, Darryl, Jenn Hoftyzer, Michelle, Mike DeWeerd, Krista, Rob Scholten, Robert, Nicole Hoftyzer, Lucas Mulder, Brittany, Martin Van Zandwyk, Tyson Rumph, Zachary, Hannah Mulder, Jessalynn Mulder, Brock Van Soest, Connor Van Soest, Brady Van Soest and Curtis Van Soest; and his siblings, Dora (Hilbert DeBoer), Bill Hoftyzer of Belleville, Alida (Albert Dreise), Gerard (Lilly Hoftyzer) and Albert (Tina Hoftyzer). He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Masks are mandatory to be in attendance and social distancing must be respected.
In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Community Christian School would be appreciated by the family.
