She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Matze and Maartje Matze (Oppelaar); her parents-in-law, Cornelius and Neeltje VanderSlikke; her siblings, Kees, Dirk, Rien, Lyntje, Aagie and Jannie; and her son-in-law Terry Martin.
She is survived by: her husband John VanderSlikke; her children, Nelly Tempest (Charlie) of Pelham and Jack VanderSlikke (Heidi) of Arthur; her grandchildren, Chris, Tammy Martin, Rob Martin, James, Willene VanderSlikke, Stephanie, Aaron Smith, Jessica, Graham Johnston, Nathan, Carter Martin, Mark, Owen Martin, Daniel, Cassandra, Eden VanderSlikke, Abigail, Hanna, Chloe Smith, Romario and Emmett Johnston; and also Holland.
