He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Briscoe; his parents, Wilfred Holmes and Bernadette Holmes (Valliquette); his siblings, Richard Holmes and Adeline Wawrzyniak; and his son-in-law Merril Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Rob, David, Joanne (Jeff Proulx) and Rosemary; his grandchildren, Emily Eckford (Nick), Katie Sally (Tyler), Zachary and Joshua Hupé (Émelie); his great grandchildren, Cora, Wade Sally, Wyatt, Sutter and Tate Eckford; and his sister-in-law Janet Holmes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation or Bonnechere Manor Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
