He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Orville Boughner and Margaret "Annie" Boughner (Matthews); and his brothers, Charles Matthews and Clarence Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Ann Boughner (Strome); his children, Julia Strome (Julie), Tracy Montgomery, Tabby-Jo Boughner (Rick Fraser), Harvey Charles "Chuck" Boughner, Calvin Boughner (Wendy), Cindy (Scott Addison), Scott Boughner (Cheryl), Bart Boughner and Hollace Hebert (Holly); and his former wife Hollace Mole. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In light of the recent COVID-19 social distancing regulations, a Private Family Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Harvey Douglas Boughner will be conducted by Pastor John M. Friesen, of the New Hope Baptist Church, Tillsonburg on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020 in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes, 40 Queen Street, Langton.
