He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pattie" Smith; his son Cody Smith (Alysha Bunyan); his stepchildren, Amanda (Duane Brown), Andrew Fritz, Ashley (Bryan Maes) and Robert Fritz; his grandchildren, Lyla, JayLynn, Braden, Riley, Haileigh, Nicholas, Calvin, Patrick, Casey and Tyson; his siblings, Cheryl (Dave Staveley) of Grand Valley, Colleen (Larry "Newt" Cowan) of Shelburne and Tracey (Ray Jeffries) of Creemore; his nieces and nephews, Shawn (Melissa Staveley), Lyndsay Staveley, Tyler Staveley (Sierrra Cowan), Kevin (Amy Cowan), Krista Cowan-Boyle (Andrew Boyle) and Megan Hornett (Craig Sears); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sawyer, Hannah, Chloe, Leah and Madi; and his mother-in-law Carolyn Whetham.
