He was predeceased by: his brother Dave Lippert; his brothers-in-law, Dave Ernest and Nelson Mortimer; and his parents, Francis Lippert and Florence Lippert (Kunkel).
He is survived by: his siblings, Fran Block (Lother) of Penetanguishine, Yvonne Mortimer of Woodstock, Rod (Elaine) of Teeswater, Mary Alexander (Wayne) of Orangeville and Carman (Gail) of Walkerton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
