He was predeceased by: his brother Don; his parents, John M. and Margaret (Guest); and his brother-in-law David L. Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne (Mitchell); his children, Rick (Deb) and Cathy (John Crane); his grandchildren, Kris and Jason (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Emily, Delilah and Ella; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Grieve, Margaret Getty and June LeClair. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester with interment at Dorchester Union Cemetery.
