He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Doug and Betty Groat; and his parents, Case Bloetjes and Corrie Bloetjes (Bontje). He is survived by: his wife Christine Bloetjes (Groat); his children, Jessica Boekhorst (Detmer) of Thedford, Nicole Bloetjes of Dorchester and Shelley White (Joe) of Kinkora; his grandsons, Daniel, Lucas, Nathan and Nolan; his siblings, John (Liz), Mike (Jackie), Mary Ellen (Wayne Garner), Ed (Lesley) and Ron (Karen Ann); and his siblings-in-law, Mike Groat (Cindy), Steve Groat (Michelle) and Vickie Davis (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
