She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert George Watkins; her daughters, Shan Watkins and Alison Watkins; and her siblings, William Lane and Barbara Williams.
She is survived by: her grandson Paul Brown of Belleville; and her sister Valerie Cumper of Dorchester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester on Thursday, November 19 between the hours of 12:00 p. m. and 2:00 p. m. Graveside service to take place at the Dorchester Union Cemetery at 2:30 p. m.
