He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Tibben (late Hank) of Illderton and Tony Giesen (MaryAnn) of Drayton; his nephew Jaxon Emslie; his niece Lindsay Morton; his sister-in-law Janice Emslie; and also, Kenneth and Emily Emslie.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Giesen (Emslie); his children, Emma Giesen and Samuel Giesen; his siblings, Susanne, Alan O'Connor of Kitchener, Deborah, Jim Kaminski of Fergus and Ray Giesen of London; his siblings-in-law, Geff Emslie of Palmerston, Charlotte, Bob Morton of Burlington, Tom and Karen Emslie of Red Dear, AB.; and his nieces and nephews, Ian, Renelle O'Connor, Scott O'Connor, Kaden O'Connor, Kathryn, Cody Holmes, Sutton, Connor, Nicola Kaminski, Kiera, Danie Oosthuizen, Sean, Christina Morton, Jacob, Emily, Trace Morton, Shelby Emslie, Jaryn and Jace Emslie.
