She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dobbin and Sarah Dobbin; and her siblings, Lorraine, Zoe, Bernie and Ron.

She is survived by: her husband Peter Mercer; and her siblings, Rose Tinney (Tom), Cecilia Alkenbrack, Margaret Kellar, Louise Dobbin and Jimmy Dobbin (Jean). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
