He is survived by: his spouse Laurie Alton; his children, Denise Alton, Katherine "Katie" Alton, Shannon Mason (Robbie Snyder), Kyle Porter, Ethan Porter and Evan Porter; his grandchildren, Serena Mason, Elleanor Mason and Quinn Porter; and his sister Carol.
